I've been missing in action since the loss of Waco. Since we never had kids, our dogs became our children. First was Lu. She was a Stafordshire Bull Terrier. We got her when she was 9 weeks old. When she was 10 years old, we got Waco. Lu lived to be 15... she couldn't hear and could barely see. Waco would heard her back to us if she wandered too far. Now they are both gone...
Anyway, I've been trying to get back into the swing of things... Last Wednesday I went to Pacific Beach to sew with some good friends from Port Orchard and Purdy. They rent a cabin for a week every November. It was a perfect day of sewing and laughing with a beautiful sunset over the ocean! Wish we could do it more often!!! Miss you guys!!!
I still miss every dog we have ever lost, so I feel for you. I'm glad you took time to get away and enjoy some friendship and fun. Hugs to you, girlfriend.
