Fall Mornings

It's a crisp cold morning here on the WA coast. I need to clean out my planter boxes and get them ready for winter. It's hard for me to cut things back when they are still trying to bloom. Frost is in the forecast for tonight... which will most likely be the end of my flowers. On the upside .. I'm happy for all the wood we've been stacking. 

Did you know black bears eat grass? We must have really good grass because they have been tearing up our lawn at night. 

The Car Guy woke me up in the middle of the night and pointed out the window.  There was momma bear with 2 cubs eating grass. Less than 3 feet from the house!

She left us a calling card! Be careful where you step!!! LOL!
