Been there myself! Always good when you make it to the end and did not run out for whatever project.
The way I look at it is fortunate: Fortunate to lose at thread chicken while winding a bobbin than while stitching a complicated or very long seam that you had to pin for accuracy (and have removed the pins along the way). :-)
