6" Blocks

A friend of mine asked me if the Richmond block I'm making for my version of the Oh My Gosh quilt could be made with jelly roll strips...  of course,  but they'll be 6" finished!

All 10 blocks together! This was suppose to be my leader ender project for the year... LOL! It's become an obsession!

 Hahahaha!!! I made one that isn't purple or green! An it I love it!

 I managed to get 3 more blocks done for my Oh My Gosh... I'm so in love with these!

On top of my washer has the best light to get the colors to be true in my pictures...  LOL!!!!

Yes, most of my scraps are purple and green... why do you ask?

Oh My Gosh

 Back in January I posted about starting to make 4-patches for an Oh My Gosh quilt here....

I've been busy making 4-patches as leader/enders... I have about 80 made, so I decided to make a Churn Dash block to see if my calculations on redrafting the size is going to work. Off the top of my head I think the original size block finishes at 4.5". I'm making mine 9" finished.

Hahahahaha!!! I think I like it! So I made a few more!

 

 

I believe most quilters work in the same color families over and over. Which means your scraps should all work together. At least this is true for me...

How long will this quilt take me to make... mmmmm, I don't know! LOL!!!

Oh My Gosh

 I've completely lost my mind... LOL!!! These will finish at 2"! New leader/ender project. I want to do an Oh My Gosh quilt, but I'm making my blocks bigger. The pattern calls for these 4-patches to finish at 1"!!! I'm not THAT crazy!!!
