Ta Done 11/13/12 (and give away)

I finished this quilt the other day...  Love it!  I'm not really into skulls, but this quilt just makes me smile.  Maybe it's all the fabrics with polka dots!

My customer wanted a simple meander...  In the last couple months 90% of my customers request simple meanders, which is fine by me.  Sometimes I do like to add a little extra to a meander and on this quilt I echoed the meander...

The quilting is a little hard to see in the pictures but I think you can see enough of it to get the idea...

This last weekend I did notice that my followers (or friends) reached 101...  how exciting is that.  I never really thought anyone would want to see what I have to say or what I do so I'm quite happy with this number.  Soooo, I think it's time for a GIVE AWAY!

I've been racking my brains for an idea of something that might make a great prize...  I finally decided on a Sew Totally Charmed bracelet.

I made these for sale a few years back and I've been thinking it's time to start making them again.  They come in several different colors and the winner will get to choose their color...

To win leave a comment on this post telling us all what you enjoy most about quilting...  simple enough.  Right?

I will chose the winner on Monday, December 3rd...

To get a second chance to win simple spread the word and leave a second comment telling us how and where you shared...

  1. I love the process of picking out the fabrics. I can "see" the colors in the quilt as I am picking the fabrics out. Love your helper.

  3. As a longarm quilter, I love the look on my customer's faces when they pick up their quilts - it doesn't matter whether it is a simple all-over or custom quilting, the reaction is usually the same!
Love the little bracelet - it is sew cute indeed!

  4. My favorite part is the chain piecing of block parts! I love getting a crazy-long chain going, then pressing and snipping apart! The stack makes me very happy.....and it seems to go so quickly! Of course, I love the relaxing when I'm hand piecing a quilt, too. Oh heck.....I love every part of quilting!

  5. I rather like getting into the rhythm of chain piecing, assembly line cutting, sewing, pressing. But all while I'm working on one quilt, I'm thinking about the next!

  8. The thing I love most about quilting is the sense of accomplishment and having something beautiful and useful to show for it.
