I finished this last night... after months of standing and staring I decide to just put it on and go for. Sometimes my best ideas come from the seat of my pants Anyway, I really had no idea what I was going to do when I started. I am really, really pleased with how this turned out!
My customer used fabrics from Australia... I told her that I hoped she didn't want boom-a-rangs! Personal joke... sorry! She was like..."No. Nothing like that. Just have fun." hahaha Don't you love it when they say that! The only thing she requested was gold metallic thread
The batting is W&N that I preshrunk, which gives it a little loft and makes it super soft! Superior gold metallic on top and bottom line in the bobbin. I used a 9" circle from Gadget Girls for all the curved quilting. The rest is McTavishing, over lapping swirls and back and forth lines...
I love when I can create secondary designs between the blocks...
And I absolutely love the back...
