Ta Done....

So a little while back a friend of mine, who is also a longarmer, contacted me about quilting a couple quilts for her...  I was all like "What?"  Come to find out she has sold her machine and retired. She decided to use the money from her machine to get her quilt tops quilted. She had been longarm quilting for others for a bout the same length of time that I have, about 17 years, and still has a stack of unquilted tops she never got to.  (Sounds familiar!)

Anyway... here is the first one I finished for her.  Feathers in the border and my version of McTavishing Swirls background fill.  The batting is Warm Blend (poly/cotton) and the thread is So Fine.

 I love the border...

I also have come to realize that McTavishing Swirls are not light custom... LOL

But I love the texture...
