Ta Done
I just took this quilt off my machine... it feels like it's been on there forever! Some days I have to many other things going on that keep me from quilting. Dang it!
The lighting is a little off in a couple of the pictures... sorry about that. I've also been playing around with the three different cameras that we have trying to decide which one gets the best quilt pix. I don't think it's the one I used today...
This is also the quilt that I did the Angel Wings border on... you can find the tutorial here.
I love the new design I came up with for the 4" squares...
Now I want to make a quilt with nothing but squares so I can do this design!!!

Angel Wings
The border design that I call Angel Wings is my favorite to do on small borders. In the picture below the pink border is 1.5" wide...
I shared how I did it on Facebook and thought I would share it here too... (yes... there is a typo in the above pic... Angel not angle!!!)
The only marking I do is my spacing. I use my 2" Designs With Line template and chalk... (you can see the chalk in the pic above)
The next steps are drawn out...
First I stitch my swirls across my border.
Then I backtrack back adding my feathers as I go...
You can add as many feathers as you want... I add what fits well in the space I have.
These below are even smaller!!!
