A few quilts

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We spent the holiday with Dan's family in Port Orchard. It was great to see everyone!

The last couple weeks I've been busy trying to get all the quilts done that needed to be quilted before Christmas. I finished the last one December 20th... Here are a few I thought you might enjoy.

This one was pieced by a new customer. Not sure of the pattern name but the fabrics are Floragraphix II from In the Beginning I designed a fancy meander from the flowers in one of the prints...

This quilt was pieced by Karla for her Dad. Love the brown and blue stars...

I quilted it with an oak leaf meander from Spinal Twist by Megan Best This pattern is so fun to quilt and goes pretty fast!

  1. The quilts look great, Kim! I love the way you mimicked a design element in the Florigraphix quilt. I've been doing more of that myself, and it truly customizes the quilt. You do beautiful work!

  3. I love the swirls and the ferns (?) quilting. It's just gorgeous and of course since it was inspired by the fabric it's perfect for the quilt. It's the kind of design that I would have trouble spacing appropriately but you make it look easy.
