I finished the Christmas Log Cabin a couple days ago and thought I would share... I had the hardest time deciding how to quilt this one, but when the ideas finally popped the quilting really went fast. Well, kinda. I've been working so many hours at my part time job that I only get a few hours here and there to quilt. They did finally hire another person, so I'm really hoping that my schedule will get back to a normal 3 or 4 days a week instead of 5 or 6.
On another note... Dodger came to stay with for about a week. He was so cute and sweet but very skittish and affriad of Dan. Dan couldn't get near him... So he went home to California. I felt bad not being able to keep him, but it wasn't good for him to be so affraid of his surroundings. :-(

beautiful Kim!
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmassy quilting. I also like what you have done in the border - I might need to try that.
ReplyDeleteWow, Kim! That is wonderful! Love the holly leaves!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting is gorgeous -- love the holly leaves and the border quilting esp.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear things didn't work out with Dodger - it's sad that he was afraid.
Stunning! I especially love the quilting on the border, it is so effective.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear it didn't work out with the new pup. You must have been so disappointed.
