If your southern goldfinch are anything like mine they will eat you out of house and home in thistle! Love 'em though and wouldn't have it any other way.
Gretchen... I wish I had that problem. I feel quite lucky that I was able to see these 3. Unfortunately this will probably be the only time I see them at the feeder... they are really shy!
