Sunbonnet Sue Ta Done...

First I want to thank the people that have left comments on my last couple of post.  I keep meaning to e-mail everyone but I get busy.  Then I turn the computer off (yes, it does get turned off... I have to turn it off so I can get to work...) and go in to quilt and half way down the hall I think 'Oh crap I was going to do that! Oh, I'll do it when I go back on later'.  Then when I go on later I totally forget...  So a big Than You!   I always love hearing form you!

Now for Sunbonnet Sue & Sam...  My customer brought her own batting.  It's a fluffy poly so there lot of dimension.

Yes, there is a lump on the bed....  My husband has to keep his leg elevated and has pillows.  I usually remove them before I take pix but not today!

My customer chose flowers for the border...

They show better on the back...  (kinda)

I hope everyone had a safe and sane 4th of July...  And I'm really hoping the neighbors run out of fireworks soon!!!  Fireworks give me a major anxiety attack!  It's hard to sleep when your heart feels like it's going to pound right out of my chest.  I keep telling myself that it's only once a year and that I'm a big party pooper, but tonight it's not helping.  I'm worse than the dog...  he doesn't mind them one bit at all!  After several night in a row I'm done with them.  I have a feeling they are going to keep going through the weekend...

  2. The quilt looks beautiful Kim, I do like the way you have quilted it. I can understand how you feel about fireworks...we are not allowed them here... we have been unable to buy any since 1960 .. we can only go and watch them done professionally - and I am very happy about that.
