On My Machine

This is the first time I've quilted in month!  I had sinus surgery on December 11th....  When my Dr said it would take at least a month before I started to feel better he wasn't kidding!







Now I need a nap!

Ta Done

I finished this String Quilt yesterday for one of my best customers....

I love the texture created from the simple swirls.   Adds so much movement to the design.  

I used Superior King Tut thread on the top and FilTech Glide in the bobbin.  It's the first time I used this combination and I love it!  Perfect tension!!!

Starting with how to piece a stripy quilt on the longarm, we will Start with several different Swirls and add few simple shapes for fast freehand quilting, then add a few more fun elements to create fabulous designs to cover your quilt tops. We will also explore how to use these shapes to create complimentary borders and sashings.

I spent part of Thursday making a new class sample....

I got Blake Island but you really can't see West Seattle to the left of the island.  (wish they would get rid of those power lines...)
